Enjoyed the race overall -- some suggestions -- 1)it's much faster to do the results manually (yourself), especially for a small race such as this -- they could be ready 40 min after the start -- and, you don't have to pay anyone to do them or wait on a computer 2)there should be a volunteer or a sign at all turns -- there was no one at the last intersection and I understand that the reason runners went the wrong way(left vs straight)was that the lead vehicle went the wrong way -- obviously that's pretty bad -- you don't need a vehicle if you have have enough signs or volunteers 3)volunteers at the 1st water stop didn't know they were supposed to hand us cups of water as we ran by -- sorry you didn't have a better turnout--can't remember if you advertised in the Running Journal -- you should do that, and send out race forms to all who ran the previous year, and send forms to local running clubs, and leave some forms at other races prior to yours --Jeff

Thank you for your recommendations, Jeff. The Student Alumni Leadership Council will use your suggestions to improve the Third Annual Limestone College 5K Run. The weather kept many registrants at home, but we are looking forward to a sunny April 10, 2010 5K Run at Limestone College.
